Axle capacity
Is there a stamp or ID tag located on the axles anywhere to ID them as to what weight capacity they can carry? {Haven't really looked yet} My trailer has drum brakes with leaf springs and shocks, six...

Trailer tag inside says the trailer weight is 12,078# empty. Just curious as to what is assembly was used.
You sure 12078 is not the GVWR? If it is dry weight you would have 6k axles, however most are 8 lug. If that is GVWR then axles are most likely 5200. BTW the brakes on ALKO axles are the same 2x12 5200-7000 and Dexter may be the same.
What does the placard list for GAWR?
Correct reading {may fault} 12,078# GVWR, tag on axle reads 5200..Thanks..
