Just now am able to get back on since original post, I made a typo when my husband was telling me what to put on here, we were only going 30-35 a lot of the time and pulled off the road numerous times to let traffic go around us. We were being passed like we were sitting still by motor homes, trailers, you name it. Our trailer has 6000 # axles under it and no we were not overloaded. We removed a lot of stuff that we normally carry to lessen the weight even more. Didn't even stock up on groceries, stopped and bought as needed. We rolled over the scale at the Canadian border and all was fine. If you wish to say the bad spots in the road are well marked ok that is if you call black skid marks in the center of the dips well marked, we have talked to several travelers that have commented on them also. Several people have commented on here that we tore up this rig ourselves and that is your opinion. I guess the one month wait to get repairs must be from all those who passed us and got in line for their repairs first, and I must say I hate to see what they might have done to theirs. as for the TOW highway we had decided if we do make that trip our rig will be parked and we'll make. It in the truck alone, which is an 07 Chevy 3/4 ton dura max diesel the rig is an 08, 38' fifth wheel Cedar Creek. We also do not have any extras on the rear of the trailer such as a generator it's in the truck bed. I'm sure my husband will have a few more numbers as soon as we talk to the repair man.
