Basement sliding storeage box.

A few issues back, maybe 2 months ago, Trailer Life featured a sliding tool box /storeage box of sorts. It mounted to the floor in the basement area and then when you wanted to get anything out of the box it slid out on rails or perhaps rollers.
It was plasic, looked like the sort of material that the Ripugged Boxes were made of.
I no longer have that issue and was interested in pursuing a purchase. Can't seem to find any info. Does anyone on here recall the article and have the manufacture?
Or better yet does anyone on here have one and provide a review?
  • You probably saw this:

    This is the product: http://decked.com/

Or you could build your own (I did). There are several sites showing home made designs if you do a google search on "fifth wheel sliding storage box"
  • Thanks for the info. That is it. I'll take a look at it. I 'll also be looking at some DIY options.
  • I have a homemade slider in our Cedar Creek. Stop by and take a look.
  • I know you want a slider thingy, but in case you want to go the cheap route, this is what I did. A christmas tree plastic box is the perfect size for a lot of 5th wheel basements. I filled mine with all kinds of stuff. It could get a little heavy, but just be careful what you put in it. Again, this is the poor man's solution.
  • Looks like they are specifically made for truck/vans and at a cost of over a grand. No thanks... Other/better options out there. If not wanting to DIY, MorRyde makes various size sliding trays in the $300-$400 range
