Battery Question???

Got a new RV. It has a residential fridg, a 1000 watt inverter and two 6v deep cycle batteries. Question, at what voltage will the two 6v batteries be 50% discharged if I'm not hooked up to 120v power?

I saw a chart here sometime ago but can't find it.

Thanks for the help.
  • Trojan says 6.05 for one 6 volt and 12.10 for two hooked together.

The chart will say 12.1 V. I usually run mine down to 12.0 as once I turn the inverter off the voltage will come back up to 12.1. I sure hope the two batteries are just for the residential refer...especially in a 40' 5er.
  • 6.1 volts each for a total of 12.2. This is "resting" voltage. I.E. no charging and no draws for 24 hours.
  • Thanks folks, appreciate the info. We just have the fridg. on the inverter and the TVs. No acs or microwave. Everything else is 12v DC. We also know not to run any 120v electrical devices like coffee pot, toaster, etc. when not hooked to shore power or generators.
