Glad it worked out. Now for the dreaded question: when was the last time you serviced those bearings?
I always do a walk-around my TV and toy hauler during every stop. Part of my routine (when towing) has always included checking the bearing/brake assemblies for excessive heat. Nothing out of the ordinary that day.
