I carry an infared thermometer with me and at every stop check side wall tire temps,bearing and brake temps.Takes a couple seconds per tire/bearing and you can tell immediately if there is one you should watch or redo.Check all three tires on one side and usually within 5 degrees of each other,bearings also.Makes my long trips less stressful.Plus I carry complete set-up for one wheel.Do them annually too..
