- jjjExplorerI added some to my kitchen also. The worked very well. I bought mine at the home depot and the work very nice. I used the soft close ones and the keep the drawers closed when traveling. I am goi g to attempt the bedroom ones this year.
- Artum_SnowbirdExplorerYou might also look at some sliders with full extension that have metal sides. I have them in my kitchen at home and put some into an older camper too. They add a lot of width to a narrow drawer quite effectively.
Certainly in mine the available length is longer than the present drawer in the bedroom. If we needed the space I would certainly start there. - RollandBExplorerYou will probably need clearance of a 1/2" between the drawer side and face frame. I changed out the slides in the kitchen of an old trailer we had a few years back, it's pretty easy to do with some basic skills. I used KV8400RV slides and purchased them online from Woodworkers Hardware. These slides are 100#, full extension. Good luck!
- TrackrigExplorer IIYes, are you planning to do it yourself? I ask because there's not a lot of room to work back there. After trying to work in that small space, I paid a cabinet person to do them for me.
