I'm cut from the cloth that "if I have to do it, I'll do it..." It's not like you're risking life or limb.
It could get uncomfortable. If your kids are small, its something to consider. Maybe you retreat to a hotel for a week if it's bitter cold and the RV won't get above 50* inside.
You just can't get the insulation, the R-value, you need to make it thru a snowy winter comfortably. In the Youtube videos, you see folks making skirting from sytrofoam in an effort to keep what heat they make.
I dunno - our forefathers made it with less.
I'm thinking that you can try it, and bail on it if it's just not working out.
