- sin_cal_hdExplorerWell, hell. Not to many models anymore with the open floorplans. I look at a few mfg site lastnight. Only a few have them.
Btw, no dutchmen. - sin_cal_hdExplorerIs your buddy looking for new or used? Price range over/under $50k?
Eclipse which is Stellar and Atitude have real nice "open floor plan" with real nice cabinetry and close to the Ww Cr floorplan
Forestriver has a few open floor plans that are similar to Eclipse.
The higher end your looking at Cylcone and Inferno.I think Dutchmen has one as well. - skidrueExplorerI completely understood the title but then again our family has owned since new a 2001 Tahoe Transport 5ver. Great trailer that has been flawless over its 13 years, simple and nothing fancy. Would love something new, but the more reviews I read the more I want to keep what I have. It doesn't have a garage, pretty simple.
- Y-GuyModeratorMcKenziek those of us that frequent the Toy Hauler forum know exactly what you were asking.

A donut without a hole is a danish
and every toy hauler has a "garage". some are separate and walled off, others are garage "areas" that are not. this is the first thread I have seen in this forum that claims that some toy haulers do not have a "garage".

Bumpy,
Not too long ago, maybe +10 years or so ago, the walled off garage was unheard of. Back then, nobody referred to the Toy Hauler as having a garage. Today, manufacturers refer to them as "Garage" models. I hope this clears it up as to why I named the thread as is. - BumpyroadExplorer

Some of them had slideouts in the garage area. This seemed stupid until I realized that the floor of the slide out tipped up against the wall when it was in so that you could still use most of the garage (except a small portion where the wall of the slide out would come into the garage). These were very nice and if they were in the budget I would get one in a heartbeat!
- BedlamModeratorWe had an open floor plan 22' TH with 16' of garage convertible space. When we needed more room, it was hard finding something with 18-20' of garage that wasn't too large to take into smaller campgrounds.
We ended up trying to decide between keeping what we had, going to a car hauler with living space or splitting off the garage from the living space by having a truck camper. You can see my signature how we ended up. - stsmarkExplorerWe've been really happy with our Cyclone 2812, 30'11" loa.
