Do not answer stupid questions from craigslist. These are not real buyers but rather spammers looking for you to respond trying to get your email address. craigslist's mail forwarding system is better than the old days where your first reply provided them with your address but enough back and fourth and sometimes it slips through. I always put in my ads, "email's will not be responded to due to spammers." I also only check the respond by phone box when creating my add and the no replies this email box when creating the ad. This cuts down on the nonsense. However, even if you don't click the respond by text, people will still attempt to text you and if you use a cell number you will get more spam that way so I would use your home number only.
As to low ball offers, not being able to email or text eliminates a lot of those too. People generally don't have the b's to do that on the phone but it's very easy to do it by email or text without feeling like a jerk.
Another tip is to put in your ad, "calls from brokers and advertisers will not be responded to." Brokers will often try to sell you on them advertising your RV all over the place for hundreds of dollars guaranteeing a sale. This a known BS.
Lastly, don't put your phone number in the body of the ad. Only enter it in the drop down box when creating the ad. This prevents automated number searching programs from finding your number and putting it on lists for telemarketers to call.
