Stay away from Dylans rv in nj. after the sale your history !

Albany RV sells Jayco(amomg other's) and there are very mixed reviews on them. The complaints I see are high pressure sales and very poor service after the sale. There is also a small RV dealer in Edmeston, NY that I and my brother-in-law have dealt with in the past. He does little advertising but is a family owned business and have been there forever. It's called Howard Trailer Sales. He is very competitive on price and even more important, great service after the fact.

We got our fifth wheel at Wilkins RV outside of Bath, New York just off I-86 / Route 17. Bath is between Corning and Hornell. We've had excellent service since we bought the trailer back in 2007.

I was very happy with alpin haus rv in port jervis. There is a much larger dealership near Albany but they had what I wanted locally for me. I bought my camper 3 years ago and got a decent price but what im more happy about was service.

After my first year I had 2 pages of items to fix and all were fixed and more that they noticed while I was there. Ive also have a small stress crack and they asked me what I wanted to do about it. Instead of having it fixed I asked for a 10 warranty and if it got worse than id like it fixed and if it didnt than id be fine. I got exactly that signed by Keystone. My fridge went bad 2 months after warranty expired and dometic shipped a new compressor to them in which I only had to pay shipping ($150) as I put it in myself. I will definitely buy from them again and have told many how happy ive been.

My FIL, and 4 friend have bought from camping world of kingston and all have been extremely dissapointed with the service and from watching the issues id never recommend anyone to buy a unit. One friend still has slide issues after being there 5 times over two years

I live on long island... wes prices are way to high.... they are the only game in town and they know it.... try rv direct you will save thousands...... nice people but way to high in price

Thanks for the suggestions. I was looking at going back to Ohio, just wanted to see what else is around. Not much here on Long Island. I have checked WES. Made an offer on a Jayco, but we couldn't settle on a price. I ended up with the Komfort for 7,000 less than WES wanted for the Jayco.

I see you live on Long Island. There are not many RV dealers here on the island.

I would suggest you take at look at WES Trailer Sales in Wading River. I've been RVing for 34+ years and owned 6 RVs. These guys are dynamite. A family owned business where everyone is honest. They also have a top notch RV repair shop.
