X2 what N-Trouble said. If you wax twice a year you are protecting your unit about as good as you can.
I have tried most of the major brands over the years, either on larger boats or RVs. I was stuck on NuFinish for a long time but recently have been using McGuires. They last about the same time frame but McGuires is slightly easier to work with.
