Best RV Wax

Just got a new 2015 GD Reflection 303RLS.

Not wanting to make mistakes waxing the exterior, which wax do you like on an rv and can you apply it to the decals as well. (On my old rv I tried a polymer which was difficult to apply and then switched to nufinish)

Do not want to damage the vinyl decals.
(Like the idea of wash and wax all with the applicator but usually if it looks that simple its not good)

  • The best i have ever used is Mcguires flagship Marine wax, expensive ,but goes a long ways.I did our fiver over a year ago and it still looks great.
  • I've used the Turtlewax Ice product for several years
Used it on everything, fiberglass, metal, plastic , glass, decals

No muss no fuss , spray on and wipe and polish
    Walmart, 20 oz $9.00
  • I use a 50-50 mix of Meguiars Wax/Cleaner and Meguiars Carnauba Wax. I use a 6" orbital buffer to apply mix, and a 12" buffer to remove, with as lot of small areas done by hand. If you use this mix be careful to not get too much wax on the application buffer, or it'll be hard to remove because it'll just ball up. But if you use this mix it'll last a full year, and deep clean what the washing didn't remove.
  • We use the Meguiar's products, the ultimate paste wax or the marine/rv cleaner wax. Easy application and removal,no hazing on decals
  • I just used the Thetford product listed below on my 2014 Reflection, and I really like the results. I also like the fact that it has a UV Blocker to protect the decals.

    Thetford RV Wax

It took a little less than 1/2 of a bottle to do my rig.
