I wasn't speaking to you directly. And I think that Jayco is one of the better brands - 2 year warranty and they directly help consumers. I've owned Jayco before and would do so again.. They're mostly thrown together by linemen - just like most of the other RV manufacturers and if you got one that got out of PDI without an issue, I'd be surprised.. I say that for *all* brands.
My plan is to throw away most of the off-brand (China) components anyway. Unless you've got a leveling system or something proprietary, you can generally do better on your own if you're willing to install it. Not everyone can do that, however...
I walk through GD and I don't really detect any more fit and finish quality than most Keystone products. But I do know that GD takes much better care of their owners and if you have a problem on the road, they'll help you instead of referring you to a dealer network that probably doesn't want to be under-paid for warranty work. You'll also pay more for a GD than a Keystone - so is it worth it? The answer isn't so obvious to me.
