Between the tires chocks?

Plastic to unhitch, level and set up camp then X-chocks once tires have had chance to cool down. Make sure you check them as they may loosen up when tires cool down. Travel on.

You don't "need" to buy 2, 1 will work. While I have two, I only use one most of the time.

I use 2: 1 for each side.

Next time I mash my nasty plastic chocks I'm making my own. Wood with rope between them to keep them together. Cheap & nasty but they work just fine. I can kick em. I can hit them. If I am really desperate for firewood, I can even burn em.

I watched the X-Chock video in the link above. Their instructions say to un-hook the trailer from the tow vehicle BEFORE installing the chock and to remove the chock BEFORE hooking up to the tow vehicle...

Am I hearing this wrong? What holds the trailer from rolling away if parked on a slope?

My hard and fast procedure is chocks in first and chocks out last.

wouldn't you suspect that it would say that after the legal department reviewed the add?

I made some years ago the same way and they still work today. The only problem is the new tires are a bit larger and the space between the tires have made it them hard to install. Guess its time to make a new set. I like the 4x4's as they put pressure over most of the tread.

I seriously considered a set of "Between the tires" chocks but then opted for a set to FASTWAY chock blocks.

Good Point. My rig came standard with auto level and JT Strongarms and I no longer use/need any type between the tire chock.
Ground wedges are all I need.
