TucsonJim, CraigA nails it with his input, otherwise why Goodyear? In my opinion DO NOT USE GOODYEAR, FIND ANOTHER VENDOR, PERIOD.
It's nice so see an informed tire consumer. I use Michelin on my TV, but I do use Goodyear G614 LT's on my FW.
Same here, GY can't be beat for reliability in their "G" and "H" tires for RV's. Michelin/BFG can't be beat. MS2's on a pickup is a great choice.
I totally disagree. GY G614's can be beat in reliability, and cost. Big reason why Goodyear G614's are so expensive is that do step up to the plate ,and fix the repairs due to blowouts, and rightfully so. You are paying a high premium for the Goodyear insurance, many many reports of G614 failures, and damage to RV's .
I want a tire I'm not having to pay extra for blowout insurance, and then worry about blowouts, and where to get my RV repaired. Sailun S637's are by far a better tire in reliability then the Goodyear, and nearly half the cost.
