Tow like ****... Step up to a 5er
People who say they tow fine have never pulled a 5er and just dont know any better.
It's all in the set up and balance!
Tow a 36' TT with 3' generator platform. 39' overall. with a Ford Excursion. It behaved/towed just as well as my current fiver.
Come on.... Throw in a crosswind or passing a big rig no comparison.
Or some real world messed up roads we have here out west. - N-TroubleExplorer

- MuddydogsExplorerI have no problem towing my bumper pull toy hauler which has a 28 foot box and 33 foot total length. It tows just fine with 1500 pounds of toys and 135 gallons of fluids or empty as well as any combination of weight. My Ram 2500 jerks it right down the road most of the time around 70 mph and rides just fine if I happen to hit 80 when needed. It's all in the hitch setup which most people don't have right, get the hitch set right and any trailer will pumper pull behind an appropriate tow rig like its on rails.
- naytherExploreronce you go 5er you'll never go back to TT. Just my humble opinion. Having come from a 24' tag behind a 1500 to a 30' 5er behind a Duramax there is no comparison. No more white knuckles in the wind at overpasses or when trucks pass. With all the cool towing features on my truck I just hook up, set the cruise, etc. and "set it and forget it" and just steer.

FWIW, I hate the term 'bumper pull' (BP), you are not going to be hitching a 35' trailer to a bumper. I refer to mine as a TH TT (toy hauler travel trailer).

We're going to have to work on this. ;) - beemerphile1ExplorerUnless you will be camping out in the desert, a lot of campgrounds cannot accommodate a TT and TV that is that long.

Stability, safety and maneuverability with 5er vs BP
