Don't know about the cardinal. I did it in our 2011 Arctic Fox 29-5T 5er. Moved the wall and put in a real 46" tub and surround in place of the 40" shower that was there. We love it, she gets to take a real bath and I get a larger shower. Also upgraded the water heater to 12 gal. Pictures in signature. :B
