I agree with what MileHigh is saying. There has been tons of discussions on other forums about this problem with holding tanks failing in FWs. The poll on the Montana forum showed more black and gray tank failures than fresh water failures. It certainly has to do with the newer quality of these tanks plus the way they are being installed by many manufacturers.
The owner of any late model FW should be able to go down the road with any, or all of his tanks close to full and never worry about their stability. However, since reading about tank failures on many different makes of RV's in the past 2 years I always travel with an empty black and grays. I generally only keep about 10 gallons or less in my fresh water tank.
