Had blinds on our front windows and day night shades in the bedroom. They are both the worst dust and dirt collectors ever. Took them all out and replaced them with regular window shades. Purchased them at Home Depot. Cut to size. So much easier to keep clean and they are room darkening so the sun doesn't shine through in the early morning hours unless we are awake to open them.
