Also, reducing inflation on hot days is NOT what you want to be doing. Check and set the pressures first thing in the cool morning, and don't reduce it when it gets hot.
Unlikely that alignment problem would cause this. You might indeed need an alignment, but you would see that as scrubbing on the tire tread, and unless you wore through the rubber it isn't the issue here.
