WATERLOO, Ontario —In a move aimed at fortifying its wholesale tire distribution business, Hercules Tire & Rubber Co. has acquired Canada's Electra Group International. The deal, in the works since last summer, was finalized Jan. 6 and involves Waterloo-based Electra's Treadway Exports Ltd. division, which markets in Canada and 53 other countries, and Tire Specialists Ltd., the firm's wholesale unit for the Canadian marketplace.
Two retail stores operated by Tire Specialists were sold off separately.
No price was given for either transaction.
Last October, Electra sold its Conestoga Tire & Rim Inc. and Wheeltech North America Inc. subsidiaries to Carlisle Companies Inc.'s Carlisle Tire & Wheel unit. (snip)
I would guess you have a tire quality problem with a unknown brand probably made in China tires. Its a problem across the trailering world (not just yours or the RV industry).
If your trailer has 6k axles a USA brand LT235/85-16 E at 80 psi and 3042 lbs capacity.
If your trailer has 7k axles or the trailers gross axle weight is pushing the max limit then the Goodyear G614 and the Sailun S637 in a LT235/85-16 G load range with 3750 lbs capacity at 110 psi is a very popular option for any type of trailer including RVs. Match tires and wheels PSI and load capacity.
As others were saying most here know how to help and are willing to help regardless of how many times the question is asked. Others ...... well you got a shot from them.
