I have spent mega miles on the road with tractor trailers, goosenecks, rv's and mine haul trucks and they all have tires that fail in common. Tire manufacturers and what they recommend is gospel just read the forums but it took 10 years of in field development to build radial haul truck tires that are reasonably reliable used within their specs at $85000.00 per tire. So what did I base buying expensive Bridgestone R250 Duravis commercial all position tires on for my rv, The City of Calgary has a fleet of light vehicles and trailers that use them. The fact that hotshot trucks nationwide avoid ST tires due to failure with consistent high speed, high heat and abusive road conditions. The simple fact that while traveling in 90+ heat my tires were running cooler than GY ST tires on similar trailers with my boat on behind adding more weight and lane control stress on the lead trailer tires. We are led to believe that rv's have special needs twisting, turning and carrying all that weight on the highway. When you see forum responses disagreeing with the norm and success think about why these people are successful not why they are not followers of the propaganda.
