I don't understand the reason for lowing tire pressure on hot days but I am definitely no expert here (still learning). Living in Texas where everyone knows it gets HOTTER than HELLO, I was told by the place who installed our LT tires that cold tire pressure should be 80 PSI for our 5er. We check pressures in the morning before travel.
