Quint Da Man I think you need to look at my signature as I'm pretty sure it gets cold where I live. So the Michelin Ribs and Bridgestone Duravis R250 tires are not good winter tires in the drive position but get used lots in the steering and trailer position. Please go to a truck stop and look at steering, drive and trailer tread designs which are used all year around and from Mexico to Alaska. The tire guys are trying get your involuntary repeat business. I just ordered a new 16' trailer to haul my jeep with 16" R250's and my 24' gooseneck flatdeck has them too. My RV is the only trailer that only gets used in above freezing temps but we take them south in the winter from freezing temps.
