As stated by more than several, a lot of us have done tons of research and "lived and learned" about tires on TT's and 5er's...You've been given some very good information. It appears "E" rated tires will work for you with 6,000# axle ratings and a GVW of only 12,000#...rest will depend on how much money you want to spend on the tires.

Thanks and yes I'm going with the XPS RIBS for the reasons you mentioned. Lots of excellent reviews no only from this forum but the RV community in general after spending some time researching.

As I said I was only conveying what was said to me by Michelin when speaking with them on the phone about the RIB for my 5th wheel. I told them all the technical stuff about the rig and the driving conditions I could potentially be driving in during early spring and late fall in my area. I never mentioned the summer only thing, they brought up the minimun operation temp concerns, and then I pressed them on it. But like someone mentioned it might be who you talk to at Michelin as to what story you get. Glad you've had good luck with them.
