I doubt those road hazzard warranties will cover consequential damage to the trailer. Therefore spending extra money on higher quality tires is a better investment. Would you buy a 60-80k car or truck with tires that only cost the manufacturer 40 of 50 dollors each¿

No, they won't. I wouldn't trust any of the manufacturers to warrant incidental damage either. Goodyear seems to be the one exception, and even that is hit and miss. My point was, warranty would not play into my decision.
