I wouldn't spend 30 seconds worrying about whether the manufacturer will warrant the tire on a trailer. Those warranties are worthless anyway. The idea is to buy a tire that won't need a manufacturers defect warranty. And obviously a tread life warranty is not going to apply. Just buy the dealers road hazard warranty if that's your style. Only costs a few bucks per tire usually, and in my experience they are pretty good about honoring the warranty, no questions asked.
I bought 5 BFG Commercial T/A's thinking I wouldn't need a warranty. A thrown belt and 2 more with broken belts proved me wrong. Luckily I only had minor damage but there have been pictures posted here that show thousands of dollars damage and using highly rated tires.
Dealer road hazard warranties that are good at the dealers location aren't worth much when you are away from home and have to buy a spare. Of course you can save the tire until you get back home but the dealer won't refund any money but you may get a new tire at a prorated price.
