Unacceptable to who?
You? (obviously)
Me? (how do you know?)
The Norse Gods of RVing? (Do they care?)
Every now and then people get a little carried away with their own knowledge and self importance!
I guess this is pointed at me......so be it.
Unacceptable YES.
Any product that does not do what it is intended to do is 'unacceptable' and fails the implied warranty tests
"implied warranty of merchantability"
means it is guaranteed to work if used for its intended purpose
(The standards for merchantability are relatively low, basically guaranteeing that goods sold will do what they are supposed to do; have nothing significantly wrong with them; and are fit to be sold)
"implied warranty of fitness"
means that a product is guaranteed for a specific purpose, beyond the lower threshold of merchantability.
RV Fresh Water Tank is intended to be used to hold fresh water and to do so while in transit.
YES....anything short of that is UNACCEPTABLE
