Brands/models with Bunk house

I have been looking at this 377 MBC by Columbus. There’s a second bedroom with bunks as well as a loft off the hallway.

Depends a lot of price point. IMO one of the better ways to accomplish this is to get a toy hauler, similar to the one in my sig, and convert the back room to double bunks. Plenty of room for everyone, the kids have their own space, there is a great living room with seating for 4 on the sofas, space for a 5th if you want to put something else down and another 4 at the table with a functional kitchen. You also retain your adult privacy up top with your king bed.

Downside is price, you need a hefty truck and not everyone wants to pull 44ft.

If you can get over that though it is a nice home away from home.

Actually that is a good link as I did find the exact plan I am looking for.

3 bunks int the back and plenty of seating in the middle. Price from what I can tell is sitting about where I want to go too, about the $25K range.

this is our second summer coming up with our Cougar 330RBKwe spent two years looking before we upgraded from our 29 foot trailer as we had out grown that.

we has a few specifics we wanted , bunk room for the kids as they want to bring friends a lot, outdoor kitchen, lots of interior room so we are not tripping over the dog, lots of storage and counter space.

so far I have no regrets.

The Wildcat 312 BHX offers 4 bunks and a good size outdoor kitchen. Great interior cabinet and counter space. Full storage bay on exterior. Not a high end trailer by any means, but a good choice for regular family camping. We are a family of five and are in our fifth season with ours with minimal issues.

I like the floor plan you referenced. As a family of 5, that seems like a pretty workable layout. Since you've called out that floor plan, brand, and model/size, I think we know more about what you're looking for. One of the unique things about that model is that it accomplished quite a bit without being excessively long. That's what we wanted too when researching our most recent purchase.

The Puma line is truly low-end/entry level. Nothing wrong with that at all as long as you have that understanding before you buy it. FWIW, I believe some of their older models were a little nicer. If you're interested in spending a little more and going to something around a middle-level, check out the Grand Design Reflection 290BH in our signature line below. We were also looking at a Jayco Eagle HT bunkhouse that's about the same size...I think it was called the 29BHOK. It has four bunks instead of the three bunk arrangement we chose, but less bunk room storage. I'm not particularly fond of a couch bed as a primarily bunk (like in the Puma and many others).

First step, replace my F150 with one that can tow without trying to see whats in the other lane. After looking at a few of those trailers though, they are 3/4-1 Ton tows for the bumper pulls, so even if I decided to go with a BP, I would still need a Superduty, so that makes the decision a bit easier.

Since you know you're going to change trucks, find your FW =first=, then tailor your truck to towing it. Unless you're going super-light, a SRW 1 ton has a =lot= more flexibility in moving up (or down) in weight, than does a 3/4t, so that's my recommendation. That was =my= first mistake when I decided to get into the RV game, mostly from growing up farming, where we towed whatever we needed to with whatever truck we had. :B

I *might* get another Dually if the price is right and has what I want in it. I did see a really nice 2002 7.3 with only 45K on it, and I know that will have zero issues towing some big trailers. It would two my current one without breaking a sweat. Been looking to get a Platinum, and found a couple F350 that will do the job nicely. At least then I won't feel like I am sacrificing anything from my 502a. I will miss the 360 camera though, but at long as it has a heated steering wheel I will be fine, it gets cold up here in the winter.

The Grand Design Reflection 28bh has 2 bunks in the rear but they're double wide bunks. 2 of our triplets share a bunk, and the other gets his own.

The nice thing about the 28bh is it has a double wide refrigerator.

Another option is the lighter Reflection 150 series 290bh, which has a triple bunk in the back. Only downsides are that it has a smaller refrigerator, tiny microwave, and no auto-level jacks.
