Sorry to hear of your damage! I think most any slider, used in the puck system is going to make your FW a little high in the front. IMO, an inch or two nose-high is not a problem.
I am curious as to how far back your pin is from the cab? I know circumstances can change quickly, such as a down hill. Were you making a forward U-turn? I have towed many years with my pin 40.5 inches behind cab, and last several years at 40 inches back.
What hitch are you using now? Some standard hitches have good adjustment ahead/back. The center of your 2013 Ford axle should be at 41 inches.
