I have always felt that 38"s from cab would be my absolute minimum, although never tried it. I do know just a couple more inches back, makes a huge difference.

Jerry, I just downloaded the installation manual for the 3300. It shows two settings, one inch behind the axle and 3" behind the axle. If my axle is at 41" this will give me up to 44" from the cab. Up to six inches more than I have now. I will call them on Monday to confirm.
