TIRES are an issue! I always check pressure, keep them covered while in storage, on boards. I think the tire dealer should have known he was selling a low rated tire. Not a knowledgeable salesman...
Just like an RV salesman will tell you your F150 will tow a 35' FW... I had to put a set of Carlisles on my FW a couple years ago as the Maxxis I wanted would have taken too long to get and I needed tires =now=. Every time I'm in Discount Tire, I ask one of the guys if they have a trailer and what kind of tires they run. A lot are running the newer Carlisles, which I have. Supposedly a new design that's built to withstand more temperature and stress. Dunno, but I'm watching mine like a hawk. Were I in your boat, I'd spring for Maxxis E-range tires if you have 15" rims or dump the rims and tires both and go to a 16" LT E-range tire. Just be sure you have enough clearance to do so.
