I'm in the exact same boat looking for a med/small 5th. I also went away from the TT due to the length. I just can't imagine hauling a 37' trailer.
Here are a few I've narrowed my search to:
Outback 302BH
Jayco Eagle 29.5fbds
Cougar XLite 29RBS
Wildcat 312bhx (also a few other similar ones - check the FR website)
I've spent hours sifting through the manufacturer's websites and then searching the models online to find prices and availability. At least it's something to do while waiting for the weather to warm up so I can go camp.
