Buying a known (?) problem

Travelnutz,thanks for that critical piece of info. Yes, we're looking at a very inexpensive purchase, if we decide to go forward with this particular unit. They do go through the W Mich car dealer auctions from time to time, too; so we're learning about the bad stuff in case we have to make a quick decision. The only requirements are that it fit in our building and has extra sleeping for the grandkids who like to tag along :-)

This is pretty exciting - we'd simply close the car lot for a month (not unheard of in this lake community) and go find some sunshine for a bit...LOL!!!

This would let us try the snowbird life with not too much money tied up.
