Hi. My wife and I have decided to purchase a new 5th Wheel and I could really use some advice regarding where/how to get started. Here's what we know so far: 27 to 30 feet "Couple's Coach" with high-end amenities and reliability. Budget is $50-70K. We live in So Cal and are having trouble locating a reputable dealership. So far, the Jayco Eagle HT looks great. Wondering if it makes sense to buy factory direct. I welcome any advice you have to offer. Thank you!

Look at outdoors RV or Northwood Mfg. Both made in the pacific northwest, both have a great reputation for quality and durability.

Thanks to all who've responded already. Re the truck; Ben, I haven't bought one yet. I thought it best to find the right trailer for us and then get the truck. I appreciate the guidelines and will be careful to get the safest possible configuration. And I'll check into the Northwood Arctic Fox right away. So nice to have you as a resource. Thanks again!
