If you are not trading, you are in a position to make whatever offer you want. If trading, only the difference matters. All brands/makes have some type of issues. The Keystone Cougar is a popular FW, so they must at least be a good trailer for the cost.
When I see a private seller asking just over a round number,such as 32,500, I always figure they are hoping to get the round number 30,000. A dealer will set a high price, so they can make you feel better, allowing more for your trade. On a no-trade they will consider any offer, and likely don't need to get near what they are asking.
