Buying Replacement Parts
So not sure where this post should go so Mods if it needs to be moved please do so.
This past weekend family went camping with the inlaws probably the first time in two years we used our Toy Hauler:( Anyway brought home the trailer to clean it up and restock all of our supplies and check to make sure everything was working like it should. Everything check out good but oops forgot to check the plumbing......
Anyways we get to the camp spot and we get everything hooked up and once I turn on the water we have issues!!! The plumbing line from the toilet snapped and had a bit of water but we got all that cleaned up not too much of a problem. So the rest of the weekend we used the showers and restrooms that the KOA provided.
So after we got home I went to Camping World to see if they carried this part and sure enough they don't but could order it for me and this is where it gets good.... So talking with the parts guy he said that he would give me two options 1st option would be what his price is with shipping to me and then what I could get it for through AMAZON. Camping World price to me was $48 and through Amazon was $21!!! For one thing I'm sure if his manager knew he was referring people to Amazon to buy parts instead of going through Camping World he wouldn't be too happy. I just never thought to look at Amazon for a RV toilet part....
So before paying too much for parts always check Amazon first.
