I've been looking for a 5th wheel hitch for my new truck. I have a B&W turnover ball in it and need a 5th wheel.A friend has a B&W companion slider he is letting go. He used it once and went a different route on trailers.So this thing looks brand new. Like it's never been used. Been stored in a garage.He wants 800 for it. That would go great in my 2019 F250, maybe a little more than I need but the price is good, right?Is that a good deal on this hitch?

Sounds like a good deal to me. Some deal killers would be if you have a 8 ft. bed or you have Industry Standard Rails. If nothing is in the bed of your truck then you will have to spend some bucks for a turnover ball system. I believe a ball is standard if you have the factory puck sysstem.I guess if you have a long bed, you could use it without the slide feature. MSRP is over $1,600.

This model retails for $1,633.00. Just the =base= will run you $800-900, new, and you've got to add a head. Most places are selling these, new and complete, for $1,400-1,500.Lyle
