Made a small chain with a plate on it to go in the jaws. Got a 1,000 lb furniture dolly at a Harbor Freight a couple miles from me for $10 and set the hitch down on that to roll around the garage. Can you post a pic of the engine hoist modification?
Also what size plate did you guys use?
Thickness and side to side. I thinking 4x4x 1/2?
Also how much do you loosen the hold down bolt? Do you grease the pin to make it slide easier?
