I can't believe it. I just got my new Companion slider unboxed and went to set it in place with the turnover ball hitch and it failed to seat all the way. Now I can't get it back out. Man this thing ...

Check your spring loaded locking pin under the bed. It may have released and is holding the hitch retainer in place
