B&W Companion slider stuck installing
I can't believe it. I just got my new Companion slider unboxed and went to set it in place with the turnover ball hitch and it failed to seat all the way. Now I can't get it back out. Man this thing ...

They are binding up when the post goes into your socket, the powder coat is just to thick to allow it to drop in. I sanded the hitch post that goes intro the socket with a DA and some 600 paper. After sanding off the powder coat, spray the post with slip plate (graphite spray paint) it will drop in easy and allow you to remove it as well.

I use a new toilet brush to clean the socket each time i put in the ball or my slider. I do have the advantage of using a skid steer to load and unload my slider.
