B&W Companion slider stuck installing
I can't believe it. I just got my new Companion slider unboxed and went to set it in place with the turnover ball hitch and it failed to seat all the way. Now I can't get it back out. Man this thing ...

There are several posts on what others do to take the platform out. I take the platform off, then the base off the post, the pull the pin and pull out the post. Installing is the reverse order to ensure the post does not get into bind and fully seated in the first place.
When I get to the point I can't lug it out I'll rig a winch off a rafter.
