Just wondering if you can pull a wheel with the Companion slide ln rear slide position?

Tires only had 3,000 miles on them. Put new spare on and 150 miles later, boom. What is proper rail clearance? I'll take the head off the BW in AM and see if it can be lowered. I have put two new Marathon tires on the back axel. Hope they are better than the others.
