B&W slider help

They just installed the B&W companion slider in my truck. I wanted to remove the docking plate so I could install my bed cover but I'm not able to remove it. I pull u on the two small handles and lift but it feels like there is something else holding it in. Any help would be appreciated. TIA

    Hey Keith, thanks for the help that did the trick. I should have guessed it would be difficult due to the new bushings. Big help, thanks again.

    You just have to pull up pretty hard, I usually just pull up kind of side to side and it will come up, when you do get it up lube the black poly bearings on top of pivot arms and the next time it will be easier, BW told me to use lithium grease.

    Yes I did. Both handles move up nicely but the plate doesn't budge.
