Are you sure a cabinet shop would NEVER use Gorilla glue? Titebond is a good glue and would work but it does not take care of any looseness if that is part of the problem. Gorilla glue will help fill any gaps and is superior for those purposes. Wiping with a wet cloth will remove most of the excess and a sharp chisel will remove any hardened excess.
