After 9+ years, I think the glue has failed. Following suggestions of the first 2 respondents and you should be good. I have gotten to where I use Gorilla glue for most of my projects.
That stuff is******use a quality wood glue like Tightbond. As said liberally apply and with a damp cloth clean off all excess glue.
You would never see a cabinet shop use Gorilla Glue.
Are you sure a cabinet shop would NEVER use Gorilla glue? Titebond is a good glue and would work but it does not take care of any looseness if that is part of the problem. Gorilla glue will help fill any gaps and is superior for those purposes. Wiping with a wet cloth will remove most of the excess and a sharp chisel will remove any hardened excess.
I don't want the glue to "fill" the gaps. I want it to bond. Chizel on a finished product?
Should not say never but any of them I have worked with would not use it.
I have seen the mess Gorilla Glue leaves, it keeps growing until it dries. If you don't care about how the job looks…..
