California Highway 5 Northbound Road Surface
Two years ago when returning to the Bay Area via highway 5, we experienced horrible road surface conditions, just north of Bakersfield for many miles. they were so bad that our kitchen cabinet came off the wall and I got a migraine headache!
Since that horrible experience, we have been sticking with 101 on our journeys to Southern California. Of course, this route takes much longer. We are thinking of returning on the 5 from our Thanksiving holiday, but we do not want to if the road has not yet been resurfaced.
Can anyone please give me an update?
