actually, if you check, in almost every state it is illegal to tow over 55. It is just not enforced.
You might want to check on this, as the site I went to just listed 16 states with a towing speed limit of just 55mph, most were 65.
Actually not correct, tow speed in Utah is 75! And there are many others that are not 55.
