campground?

Hey everyone,
Can anyone recommend a campground in san bernadino? My company has me driving 102 miles 1 way for this project I'm working on (union carpenter).

The area where the job is sucks and there are police everywhere keeping the peace in town.

Not in San Berdoo, but Yucaipa Regional Park and Rancho Jurupa Park are both nearby and are nice. Full hookups at Yucaipa, and half of Jurupa are full with cable, and the other half is water/elec. with a dump station.
You do not want to stay in San Bernardino.

I thought that was pretty much true of anyplace in Kalifornia. :B
    It's getting there real fast:B

I lived in Anaheim from '81-'84. That area was ok but I remember Hollywood Blvd from Manns on up being a dump covered in prostitutes. That and it was the first time in my life I had lived somewhere where you could actually SEE the air you were breathing.

Visited there again back around 2003 and it seemed Hollywood had cleaned up quite a bit and the air was actually clear. At least it looked like it. Didn't have much interaction with the "natives" at that time so can't say about that end of things.

Most Memorable Moment: Being propositioned by a gay porn producer, and then offered a part in a "straight" porn movie after I turned him down. Turned that down too. All I could think of was showing up for my straight part, and then finding out the entire rest of the cast was made up of The Village People look-a-likes, and me.

    Nawwww.

  • Never stayed at this one, but I have seen it off the side of the 10 in Beaumont, it is a little further out than Yucaipa.

Hi, I would go with Rancho Jurupa as Yucaipa is usually booked. only about 15 min. from San Bernardino. Allthough I do not think there is a rv park there,You do not want to stay in San Bernardino.
